XRP Hits Five-Year High

🟩The price of XRP surged to $2.88, marking its highest level since 2018. A significant factor behind this rise was substantial whale activity, as wallets holding 1–10 million XRP increased their balances by 1.43 billion coins (+37%) over the past two months.

🟩Shaun Dawson, head of research at Derive, attributes the growth to anticipation of XRP-ETF approval in 2025. Analysts at JPMorgan predict that inflows into XRP-based funds could surpass Ethereum’s within the first six months of launch.

🟩Further momentum is driven by the potential resolution of the Ripple-SEC legal battle, ongoing since 2020. This week, XRP gained 25%, with its market capitalization reaching $165.92 billion.
