BlackRock Strengthens Its Position in Bitcoin

🟨BlackRock’s IBIT Bitcoin fund now manages 2.77% of the total Bitcoin supply, according to Arkham Intelligence. In just one day, the fund attracted $643 million in investments — a record figure over the past 13 weeks. It now holds over 582,000 BTC worth around $56 billion, highlighting the world’s largest asset manager’s growing confidence in the future of cryptocurrency.

🟨Jay Jacobs, Head of U.S. ETFs at BlackRock, noted that high global uncertainty benefits assets like Bitcoin. Amid trade conflicts and the risk of the U.S. dollar losing its reserve currency status, BlackRock’s leadership views crypto assets as an important element of capital protection.
