🟡Donald Trump has approved the creation of the first U.S. crypto reserve fund. It will be controlled by the Treasury Department but will not replace the Federal Reserve’s gold and foreign currency reserves.
🟡The fund will be replenished with seized digital assets rather than market purchases. Currently, it holds 200,000 BTC, 56,000 ETH, and 122 million USDT. Most altcoins, including Solana and Ripple, will be excluded from the reserve due to private control concerns.
🟡Analysts expect speculation following the news but believe Bitcoin will remain the core asset of the fund as the most independent digital asset.
