TON Issues: Outages and Arrests

🟦The open network and its native token continue to face various problems. Last week, there were two consecutive outages, causing the network to be unavailable for over 12 hours. This occurred after a surge in demand for one of the meme coins launched on the blockchain — DOGS.

🟦Today, the price of TON dropped by more than 90% within minutes on CoinMarketCap. However, this issue apparently wasn’t related to Toncoin and its team. The problem arose with a popular crypto aggregator. Users reported the issue on X, noting that the TON price quickly recovered its value against the dollar and is now showing $5.2 again.

🟦Additionally, about ten days ago, Pavel Durov, the CEO of Telegram, who has supported the project since its inception, was arrested in France. It’s reported that he was presented with a series of preliminary charges.
