XRP Strengthens Its Position in Japan

🟣Japan has announced that XRP will be used for all payments across the country by 2025. This move aligns with earlier forecasts by SBI CEO, Yoshitaka Kitao, who predicted widespread use of XRP in Japan’s banking sector.

🟣SBI CEO Yoshitaka Kitao predicted that XRP would dominate Japan’s banking industry by 2025. Ripple Labs Inc. recently launched Ripple USD (RLUSD), a new stablecoin pegged to the US dollar. This expands the capabilities of the XRP Ledger and could revolutionize cross-border payments.

🟣The implementation is expected to provide extensive liquidity and accessibility, further strengthening XRP Ledger’s position in global financial markets. Ripple’s legal battle with the SEC concluded with a court ruling affirming that XRP is not a security. The civil fine imposed on Ripple was reduced to $125 million.
