🟨 The Maltese cryptocurrency exchange Graviex has announced the cessation of its operations. Representatives of the platform stated that customer wallets would be disabled on October 20. Users must complete trades and withdraw all funds before this date.
🟨 Graviex launched in 2017 and offered clients the ability to trade major digital assets, as well as use the platform’s native coin with the ticker GIO (Gravicoin) for transactions.
🟨 The closure of Graviex is not the only recent incident in the cryptocurrency sector. Cybersecurity experts from PeckShield reported that the Singaporean cryptocurrency exchange BingX was hacked, resulting in losses exceeding $43.2 million.
