⬛ Crypto trader Vladimir Cohen suggests that the Bitcoin price drop might be linked to the actions of market makers associated with Pavel Durov. According to the expert, the sharp decline in Bitcoin’s value on the night of August 28 could have been caused by the actions of an unknown large player.
⬛ The analyst also pointed out that Pavel Durov might have sold at least 10,000 Bitcoins to support the TON ecosystem and other tokens within it. Market makers connected to the founder of the messaging app Telegram hold large reserves of Bitcoin and can influence the asset’s price dynamics.
⬛ The worsening situation around Pavel Durov has had a negative impact on the entire cryptocurrency market. Currently, on major exchanges, buy orders are concentrated in the $58,000–60,000 range, where Bitcoin has found support.
