A Calm August: Expectations and Risks for the Crypto Market

🔵 August is traditionally considered a quiet month for the cryptocurrency market, and since 2013, Bitcoin has, on average, increased by 2.7% during this period. However, this year, there are factors that may influence prices. One of these is the expected unlocking of tokens worth over $1.6 billion, as well as the liquidation of assets from the bankrupt Mt. Gox exchange.

🔵 Experts note that the macroeconomic situation in the U.S., including a potential decrease in the Federal Reserve’s key interest rate, could make crypto assets more attractive. At the same time, geopolitical risks, such as conflicts in the Middle East and the upcoming U.S. elections, could introduce increased volatility to the market.

🔵 Specialists expect Bitcoin to remain within the $56.9K to $72K range in August, with significant activity likely to begin in the fall. If the month passes without major negative factors, it could set the stage for an optimistic fourth quarter.
