🟡The idea was first proposed by Senator Cynthia Lummis at the Bitcoin 2024 conference. Her BITCOIN Act legislation outlines a plan for the U.S. to purchase up to 1 million BTC over five years. Trump emphasized that the reserves will not be sold but will serve as the foundation for a national cryptocurrency reserve.

🟡Experts predict Bitcoin’s price could surge to $500,000 or higher, and if the plan is implemented, it might reach $800,000, boosting the asset’s market capitalization to $15 trillion.
