Bitcoin in Microsoft

🔲In December, Microsoft shareholders will make a critical decision on a proposal to diversify the company’s balance sheet by adding Bitcoin. While the crypto community eagerly awaits this event, Microsoft’s board of directors initially expressed reservations about the idea.

🔲The proposal has drawn significant interest from industry experts, as it challenges Microsoft’s stance on integrating Bitcoin into its financial strategy. Major Microsoft shareholder BlackRock, which owns about 7% of the company’s stock, plans to participate in the vote.

🔲Another large shareholder, Vanguard, holding 9.09% of Microsoft shares, is committed to ensuring fair decision-making. Interestingly, Vanguard rejected the concept of a Bitcoin ETF earlier this year.
