SEC Approves Listing of Options on Bitcoin ETFs

🟨The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved rule changes for the stock exchange that allow the listing of options tied to spot Bitcoin ETFs. This will enable hedging and provide greater liquidity, better price efficiency, and lower volatility in relation to the underlying funds.

🟨Now, NYSE will be able to list and trade options on the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust (BTC), and Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB). Cboe Global Markets has received approval to list and trade options on the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) and ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB).
