A new Telegram update has been released, featuring account registration without linking a phone number, a message auto-delete timer, improved chat themes, enhanced anti-spam, and a new set of animated emojis.
To register an account without a SIM card, users can use anonymous blockchain-based numbers available on the Fragment auction platform. Another feature of registration without a phone number is temporary QR codes, which allow users to add them as contacts.
Telegram has also added an auto-delete message feature for new chats. To enable this feature in an existing chat, go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Auto-Delete Messages.
Additionally, it is now possible to create topics in chats with more than 100 participants. Chats with topics will appear in a convenient vertical panel, allowing users to switch to the latest topic directly from their chat list.
The update also introduced a new automatic spam filter tool for community admins, eliminating the need for third-party bots.
Telegram has added an emoji search by keywords for iOS users, a feature that was previously only available on Android. Premium users now have access to 10 sets of animated emojis, and the list of interactive emojis has been expanded for all users.
