Apple Car: Apple Announces Its Car – Details

Rumors about Apple creating a conceptual electric vehicle first surfaced back in 2008.

The release of the first Apple Car was initially planned for 2019-2020. However, during that period, the company did not offer anything concrete, only occasionally commenting on its actions. It wasn’t until early 2022 that more specific information began to emerge.

It became known that Apple has not abandoned its plans to release a new generation of electric cars and intends to produce them under its own brand. However, the company warns that the final decision is unlikely to be made before 2026.

The entire “hardware” of the future Apple Car will, of course, be electronic. It seems that the dashboard will be replaced by a touchscreen, meaning that system and component control will be carried out through simple touch gestures. It is also planned to install a battery with a capacity of up to 50 kWh. The car will be equipped with either one or two electric motors and will be able to cover an average of 300 km without needing a recharge.

It appears that the company has settled on the Cybertruck concept, but the overall silhouette will have smoother edges. The model is expected to be a four-door crossover. Features like a panoramic glass roof, retractable doors, a steering wheel with a display, seats that can rotate in all directions, and a futuristic interior design continue to generate interest among experts and the public.
