Tesla Adds Dogecoin Payments

Elon Musk’s Tesla has added the option to pay with Dogecoin on its website. The meme coin can now be used to purchase certain items from the online store. Customers just need to send the required amount of coins to Tesla’s wallet address. The company warns that any other crypto assets sent to Tesla’s address are non-refundable.

This new wave of interest from Tesla has positively impacted Dogecoin’s price: at the time of writing, DOGE is trading above $0.16, with a 7% increase in the past 24 hours. In comparison, the overall crypto market grew by 0.7%, Bitcoin by 0.9%, and Ethereum by 1.2%.
