Bitcoin Mining Difficulty Declines for the First Time Since June

🟡After three months of continuous growth, Bitcoin’s mining difficulty has fallen by 2.73%, dropping to 146.72 T — the first decline since June. This means miners now need slightly fewer computations to add a new block to the network and earn the current 3.125 BTC reward, worth about $346,000 at current prices.

🟡Interestingly, the global network hash rate has simultaneously reached a new all-time high of 1.28 zettahashes per second, reflecting the ongoing expansion of mining power. Despite the surge in hardware activity, the Bitcoin Hashprice Index has risen from $46.5 to $48, signaling improved mining profitability. In short, efficiency has temporarily increased even as competition remains at record levels.
