Illegal Crypto Farms and Energy Theft

🔲In Karachay-Cherkessia, three illegal crypto farms were discovered using electricity without proper metering. The organizer of the first farm installed 186 devices in a rented facility, modifying the metering system. The energy company suffered losses exceeding 4 million rubles.

🔲Later, police uncovered two more farms—one underground and another on a livestock farm. In January, a mining center was found in Makhachkala, causing damages of 180 million rubles. Those responsible now face criminal charges.
