Bitnomial Launches the Era of Blockchain Collateral

💠U.S. derivatives exchange Bitnomial has taken a major step toward integrating digital assets into traditional finance by adding XRP and Ripple USD (RLUSD) as margin collateral under the oversight of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). This marks the first time stablecoins and tokens can be used as collateral for trading futures and options in a fully regulated environment.

💠According to CEO Luke Hoersten, RLUSD provides traders with the efficiency of the U.S. dollar on-chain, while XRP enables instant settlement and liquidity. The integration enhances capital efficiency and highlights the growing convergence between crypto technology and traditional market infrastructure, strengthening Bitnomial’s position as a leader in regulated crypto derivatives.
