SWIFT and Chainlink Launch Blockchain Registry

🔵SWIFT has unveiled a new corporate events registry powered by blockchain in partnership with Chainlink. The system leverages AI to process unstructured documents and converts verified data into ISO 20022 format. Crucially, information becomes simultaneously available in both traditional systems and blockchains, creating a single source of truth for market participants.

🔵The solution allows banks to interact with tokenized assets without abandoning existing SWIFT standards. This reduces costs, simplifies integration, and — with leading institutions like DTCC, Euroclear, and UBS already involved — highlights the project’s potential to reshape global financial infrastructure.
