Tron Cuts Fees to Drive Adoption

🟥The Tron network has seen transaction fees plunge, with block producer revenue dropping 64% in just 10 days to around $5M. The move follows community approval of Proposal #789 on August 29, which reduced the energy cost from 210 to 100 Sun. As a result, transactions are now significantly cheaper, improving accessibility for users.

🟥Despite reduced validator income, Tron maintains its dominance in the L1 fee market, accounting for 92.8% of total network fees over the past week. Analysts say lower costs could attract up to 12M additional transactions, further strengthening Tron’s ecosystem and fueling long-term growth.
