Ethereum Moves Closer to the Masses

🔵On May 7, 2025, the Ethereum network underwent its most significant upgrade since the transition to Proof-of-Stake — Pectra. The update combined 11 technical improvements, making wallets smarter, staking more efficient, and Layer 2 fees lower. The key change is the introduction of account abstraction: wallets can now function like smart contracts, allowing users to, for example, pay transaction fees not only in ETH but also in other tokens, and execute multiple actions within a single transaction.
