Cardano Moves to Decentralized Governance

🟦Cardano, a layer 1 blockchain, has launched the long-awaited Chang update. This upgrade enables ADA token holders to shape the future of Cardano: selecting leadership representatives and voting on development proposals.

🟦Three user-led governance bodies will replace the founding companies of Cardano in network update decisions. These are the Constitutional Committee, Delegated Representatives (DREP), and Stake Pool Operators (SPO).

🟦The Chang update is a key milestone in Cardano’s roadmap. It marks the beginning of the Voltaire era, a phase aimed at achieving full decentralization.
