🟡On September 1, Ripple plans to unlock 1 billion XRP. This is part of the company’s monthly unlocking process. At current prices, the nominal value of the unlock is $570 million, which will be partially sold in the coming days.
🟡Since May 2024, Ripple has been using two tagged accounts for its monthly unlocks. Before that, the company used other accounts. More than 43 billion XRP are still locked in escrow until December 2027.
