Bitcoin Crashes Below $113,000

🔴On August 1, Bitcoin’s price fell below the $113,000 mark for the first time since July 10. This triggered mass liquidations across the crypto market: nearly 161,000 positions were closed within 24 hours, totaling over $700 million. The majority of the losses came from long positions, with traders losing more than $423 million. The largest single liquidation — $4.45 million — occurred in the ETH/USDC pair on Binance.
🔴Amid the sharp volatility, the Fear & Greed Index dropped to a neutral level of 51, reflecting growing uncertainty among market participants. Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s dominance rose above 62% again, and analysts suggest that large investors continue to accumulate the asset.
