USA on the Verge of Creating a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve

🟡U.S. citizens are actively supporting the bill to create a strategic Bitcoin reserve, initiated by Wyoming Senator Cynthia Lummis and former President Donald Trump. According to cryptocurrency advocate Dennis Porter, around 3,000 voters have reached out to senators, including 1,746 letters addressed to Democrats who support the new legislative initiative.

🟡Lummis announced the “National Innovation Technology Stimulus Act,” which proposes to purchase 200,000 BTC annually. The U.S. already controls more than 200,000 BTC, accounting for nearly 3% of the total supply. However, the path to creating the reserve depends on Congressional approval and the results of the upcoming 2024 elections, while the current administration may be skeptical about this initiative.
