Ethereum Overhauls Its Grants Program

⚫The Ethereum Foundation has announced a major reform of its grants program, shifting from open submissions to a targeted model focused on strategic priorities. Funding will now be distributed through Requests for Proposals (RFPs), allowing the foundation to allocate resources more efficiently across core ecosystem goals.

⚫The announcement coincided with the deployment of the Fusaka upgrade on the Holesky testnet, introducing scalability improvements such as PeerDAS and preparations for parallel transaction execution. The mainnet release is expected on December 3, marking an important milestone in Ethereum’s ongoing push for higher throughput and efficiency.
