Buterin on Ethereum’s Exit Queue

🔷Vitalik Buterin addressed criticism over the 45-day exit queue for Ethereum staking. Responding to comparisons with Solana, he stressed that staking is a responsibility to secure the network, and allowing instant exits would undermine its reliability.

🔷The queue has already fallen to 2.5 million ETH, while staking participation remains near record highs. The network now counts over 1 million validators and more than 35 million ETH staked, underscoring Ethereum’s strong security base.
