XRP Gains Momentum in LATAM

🔲According to a report by Bitso, interest in XRP has surged across Latin America. Users on the platform have begun accumulating the asset at a rapid pace, surpassing major coins like Ethereum and Solana in purchase volume. On average, XRP now accounts for 13% of crypto portfolios in the region—a remarkable increase from virtually zero a year ago.

🔲Mexico stands out in particular, with 10% of purchases attributed to XRP. This spike in interest may be tied to the token’s impressive 2024 performance (+238%) and improved regulatory outlook amid political shifts in the U.S. Bitso and Ripple continue to strengthen XRP’s role in cross-border payments.
