Devcon 3 ran four days at the Moon Palace Resort with just under 2,000 attendees, timed to Día de los Muertos. The archive holds 113 sessions from 128 speakers, recorded in the main hall and a breakout hall. Day one opened with the Foundation's welcome and team introduction (Ming Chan, Vitalik Buterin, Christian Reitwiessner, Péter Szilágyi and others); the programme centred on Casper and proof of stake, Plasma and sharding, formal verification, the EVM roadmap and developer tooling.
