MetaMask just took another solid step toward becoming the ultimate all-in-one crypto wallet — they’ve added full support for the Tron network. And this isn’t just a minor checkbox; it’s genuinely useful for millions of users.
Here’s what you get in practice:
- Your Tron address appears automatically in your account once you update the mobile app (or the browser extension).
- You can stake TRX right away and start earning rewards.
- Those resources (energy and bandwidth) help cover transaction fees — keeping things basically free, just like Tron is famous for.
- Plus, you can vote for Super Representatives — the classic Tron DeFi move.
For now, staking is only available in the mobile version of MetaMask, but that’s already a huge win: no need to jump between different wallets anymore. Everything lives in one place.
