Antitrust Investigation Against Nvidia: The Market in Shock

🟨The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has issued subpoenas to Nvidia and other chip manufacturers as part of an antitrust investigation. This move caused a sharp drop in Nvidia’s stock and negatively impacted the Nasdaq market, as well as cryptocurrencies.

🟨Bitcoin, which had recently risen to $56,000, started to decline, while Ethereum dropped below $2,400. Solana and Toncoin also lost value. Amidst these fluctuations, there was a mass liquidation of long positions — the total liquidation volume amounted to $194 million in the last 24 hours. A total of 73,571 accounts were liquidated, reflecting investor concern. Expectations of further actions by the DOJ remain high, causing caution in the market.
